Origin Wellness LLC
Excavating your hidden roots for deeper healing
Jacquelyn Bacon
Hello! My name is Jacquelyn Bacon, and I am the owner of Origin Wellness LLC. I hold a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Kent State University and am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of Ohio. Since entering the mental health field in 2015, I have gained valuable experience in both community-based and private practice settings, working with children, adolescents, families, and adults.
My passion for holistic healing has always been a driving force in my life, guiding me to complete a 200-hour yoga certification, earn Reiki Level 1, and become a certified Buti Yoga instructor. These additions have greatly enriched my therapeutic practice, allowing me to integrate a variety of somatic techniques that support a deeper connection between physical sensations and emotional well-being.
In addition, I draw from a tailored blend of theoretical approaches—including psychoeducation, polyvagal theory, cognitive behavioral therapy, interpersonal skill-building, and others—to enhance self-awareness, facilitate emotional processing, and strengthen essential skills in coping, emotion regulation, problem-solving, and relationship-building.
Together, we will focus on alleviating distress and enhancing various aspects of your life to help you reach a place of fulfillment, purpose, and connection that genuinely reflects who you are.

How I can help
Therapeutic Yoga
Therapeutic yoga is a gentle, body-centered practice that supports emotional and physical healing through slow, mindful movement, breathwork, sound healing, and grounding techniques. Designed for all bodies and all mental health journeys, this practice invites you to reconnect with yourself from the inside out.
By encouraging deep listening to your body’s sensations and responses, therapeutic yoga helps release stored physical and emotional tension, calm the nervous system, and build resilience. With an emphasis on presence and intention, it promotes greater flexibility, emotional regulation, and a renewed sense of inner balance - no yoga experience required.
This work is especially helpful if you’ve felt stuck in traditional talk therapy or are navigating anxiety, trauma, or chronic stress.
*Sessions are available virtually, in Chesterland, or at a beautiful wellness studio in Aurora—tailored to your preference.
Sound Healing
Coming Soon
Discover the ancient art of sound healing — a powerful wellness modality that uses instruments such as singing bowls, soothing music, or the human voice through guided meditation to harmonize the body, calm the mind, and uplift the spirit. Sound healing helps release stress, improve sleep, reduce anxiety, and enhance overall well-being.
Perfect for individuals seeking deep relaxation, energetic realignment, or a soulful reset.
Mental Health Therapy
Life can often present various mental, behavioral, and physical health challenges that can feel overwhelming or isolating. Whether it’s anxiety, depression, or difficulty navigating interpersonal relationships, these challenges create barriers to living a life that feels authentic and aligned with your values.
Together we will develop a personalized and collaborative approach to uncover the root of your challenges, create a customized toolkit for symptom management, and develop practical strategies to improve your mental, emotional, and physical well-being.
I am dedicated to supporting you throughout the therapeutic process and ensuring that you feel safe and nurtured in an environment conducive to interpersonal growth.
